Baby Line: Shampoo/Body Wash, Conditioner, Massage Lotion, Nappy (Diaper-area) Spray. AZ’s goal for our baby products was to formulate a line that would be effective and gentle based upon safe ingredients and natural oils. We avoided hormone disruptors, perfumes, hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, artificial coloring, animal testing, Gluten, Sulfates, SLS or SLES, Parabens, Phthalates, MEA, DEA or TEA, Lanolin and genetically-modified ingredients. The shampoo & body wash’s cleansers are known for their mildness, soft, yet stable sudsing, conditioning abilities and of course, effective cleansing *(1, 2, 3). These ingredients are also scientifically shown to have low irritation and sensitization *(4,5,6). The shampoo/body wash is emulsified with natural Lecithin *(7) and we have added Apricot Oil for its non-oily skin conditioning *(8) and Organic Parsley-Basil Extracts to nourish the hair and scalp. This all-around cleanser is scented with natural Lavender, Frankincense and Orange Essential Oils. The children’s hair conditioner conditions with Behentrimonium Chloride, which is acceptable by Whole Foods Market Premium Body Care. It moisturizes the hair with whole, natural oils of Apricot, Olive *(9) and Sea Buckthorn as well as with Aloe Vera gel *(10). AZ’s Baby Body lotion is light and easy-to-spread lotion made with Aloe Vera and natural oils including Sesame, Sea Buckthorn and Jojoba. These oils contribute benefits like skin repair, inhibiting bacteria, inhibiting inflammation, and acting as antioxidants *(11,12,13). It is naturally preserved with Vitamin E and with a Radish Root Ferment Filtrate that is antimicrobial and also moisturizes the skin *(14). AZ’s Nappy (diaper-area) spray soothes irritated rear ends with Witch Hazel *(15) and Aloe Vera gel *(16).
